When I was ten I won a very cheap camera at a carnival and using my first roll of film I captured an image that later won a national photo contest. That event kept me interested in photography but it wasn't until several years later during my first year of college that my love and appreciation for photography blossomed. A creative photography course, a loaner, and a weekend outing in the Blue Ridge Mountains was the experience that created a passion for photography that will last a lifetime. My college hobby quickly became a part time profession shooting weddings, portraits, a calendar and many architectural projects and presentations.
Since then photography has been both a hobby and profession covering the gamut of service types including, sports, architectural, weddings, nature and portraits.

What excites me so about photography is the wonderful blend of art and science required for the creation of images that are consistent in quality yet meeting the needs of the customer. It is this blend that continues to provide joy even after more than 30 years with a camera in my hands. Still, the most joy for me is in knowing that I have captured cherished memories for my customers.
In 2004 I expanded my services to include video productions; first for weddings and later adding special events, school productions, concerts, and more.
Individually still image photography and videography provide something special to customers and together they complete the coverage of their special events.
